A cheese omelette or Omelette au Fromage is probably one of the most popular of omelettes as it is so easy and very tasty. And almost everyone loves cheese! (This recipe is for one, but easy to convert to more servings with the converter.)

Instructions
Melt the butter in the pan.
Beat the eggs with the water, then add the seasoning and the cheese(s).
When it is about half cooked, sprinkle the cheeses over the egg mixture, pour the cream over, then fold your omelette in half and serve immediately.
Notes
Bring all the ingredients to room temperature to help them mix together for better results.
Beat eggs well to break down the egg whites until they incorporate into the yolks.
Oil is a good substitute for butter if you want a lower-fat version.
