What To Serve With These Creamy Spuds

Every potato lover knows the joy of eating smooth mashed potatoes. And this recipe is so full of flavor that it will surely delight your meals all year long. Serve it on special occasions like the major holidays with roast turkey or birthdays with something special like peppered steak.

What To Cook With This Recipe For A Complete Meal

I have given you 2 suggestions already for protein. If you follow the protein, starchy food and vegetable rule of thumb for putting together dinners, then you will only need now to decide on vegetables.

I have many delicious, easy, and quick-to-prepare vegetable dishes that you will love to try like caponata, parsnips, or tomatoes Provencal.

About The Ingredients

2 whole garlic bulbs

2 Whole Garlic Bulbs (Don't mistake the bulbs for cloves.)

A garlic bulb is made up of multiple cloves with each glove having its own onion-like skin and tightly packed together.

Sometimes making it a little challenging to separate them. And the bulb has a skin encasing the clump of cloves.

Now you know how much garlic is called for in this recipe don't be alarmed at the amount as it is very different when it is cooked.

The garlic gives a much sweeter and more subtle flavor once cooked which gives your mashed potato the flavor of France!

Here Is An Easy Way To Peel Garlic

Put the garlic cloves in a small pan and pour boiling water over them, just to cover them. Boil for two minutes then remove from heat and drain. The garlic cloves will peel much easier and quicker as they cool.
