Buttery Green Beans
A simple, easy side dish that will accompany a wide range of meals and delicious with onions!
Ingredients
- 500 gram/1 lb green beans
- 30 gram/1 oz butter
- 1 medium size onion
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Trim the beans and cook in boiling well-salted water or steam them for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, finely chop the onion.
- Melt the butter and fry the onion until lightly brown.
- Drain the beans and toss them over heat to dry.
- Pour the butter and onions over the beans.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately
